Fujifilm X100

I can't tell you how much I love this little camera.  Purchasing just over a week ago, I've found a new love for a camera that has a soul I haven't been able to find for some time now.  Especially since the big transition from film to digital.

My Nikon D700 has a soul, but so many other cameras I've owned and sold, just didn't have a soul - and that was both film and digital.  There was a time I was into the Contax G1 and G2 and no matter how much I shot using that kit I just didn't find a place that satisfied me or produced images I felt had captured my vision or intention in the first place.

I have two other cameras, both film, that I will never depart, that's my Hasselblad 500 CM and my Leica Minilux.  Both of these cameras have given me so much pleasure in photography and the images are outstanding, full of life... full of that "feel" that brings me back to that soul I've been talking about.  My new Fujifilm X100 now becomes a new member to my "soul factory" and it'll be one camera I won't ever depart and will keep by my side at all times.
